We had another great day today, this time at Moana Pool.  Everyone enjoyed the hydroslide and playing games in the pool.  Its been a great couple of days for Year 7 orientation!

Millenium Walk

Wow, what a fantastic day we had today!  All the year 7 classes went on a day walk on the Taieri millenium track.  We had a great time and what a view at the top! 

Awards

Congratulations to our class certificate winners, who excelled not only academically but in our school and class values as well.  These awards were given out last week in our TK assembly.  Well done to you all.

How has everyones week gone so far? Remember we have library tomorrow and PE.

Athletics Day

We had a good sports day, everyone tried really hard.  Well done to you all!  Hope you like the photo of Sarah our class prefect, in her special uniform.  What did you enjoy most about the athletics day?

Everyone tried their best at the athletics today. You are all champions. I will try and get some more shots tomorrow. Remember have a good sleep and eat a good healthy breakfast, porridge is best because it releases the energy slowly and lasts longer. Did you enjoy today and what was you best event so far?

We learnt how to play some fun Maths games. Near the end of the lesson one person from the group shared how the game is to be played and rated the game out of 10.  Well done 7NJ.  What is you favourite game?

We have had a great day today and everyone has been working really hard.  What has been the highlight at your new school so far and why?

We have been busy this week drawing profile pictures.  But instead of drawing ourselves we were partnered up and had to draw each other.  Don't they look fabulous!  They will be put up on our wall so if you get a chance come and have a look!

Yesterday we went to a musical demonstration in the hall which showed us all the different musical instruments that we can learn at Taieri College.  This is a wonderful opportunity and hopefully lots of students will give it a go.

This afternoon we enjoyed playing a game against 7HC.  Unfortunately we lost 3-1 but we had fun!

We had a great day today creating a flower that describes ourselves and making our own personalised placemats for our desks.
